Private Hire
With an excellent wine & port list, vibrant menu, knowledgeable staff and a private shoot room for dinner and drinks for your party. If you need a room for the night we have 11 modern country en-suite rooms, with a number of dog friendly rooms available, a gun safe & a dog shower for your use.

Our Spaces
We have two perfect spaces away from the main part of the pub both with excellent Wi-Fi and table space. Our Function Room is spacious light and airy perfect for larger groups, while the Fox's Den is a cosy snug perfect for an intimate meeting of 8 with a traditional furnishing and a log burner.

The Fox's Den is a cosy private room perfect for smaller intimate meetings.
The Knapp Room – for up to 55
Our private function room is tucked away from the rest of the pub with a private bar if required. Double doors open out to the garden for welcome drinks and spilling out into on a warm summers evening.

Just a Lovely Place
Stayed here for one night on route to Torquay and absolutely loved it. The rooms,bar area restaurant and food were excellent and the staff were great. It has got a lovely garden area out the front and has recently been refurbished to a very good standard. A little bit out of the way but well worth the detour. It also has luxury lodges for hire so we may well give this a try at some point.
The Rest of The Pub
For a more casual event why not use one of our dining rooms & soak up the atmosphere.
